his Majesty and the Royal Family, the following ode, written
by William Whitehead, Esq; Poet Laureat, and set to music by
Dr. Boyce.
  Long did the churlish east detain
  In icy bounds th' imprison'd spring:
  No verdure dropp'd in dewy rain
  And not a Zephyr wav'd it's wing.
